A few months ago, our family discovered pickleball… and we were instantly hooked.

Like most people, it started casually. My husband was playing social games with his mates, but no one could ever remember who won the last match, what the score was, or who was actually improving. Meanwhile, our 5-year-old desperately wanted to be involved… then our 3-year-old followed.

So naturally, we thought: how do we make this fun for everyone?

We started searching for simple drills and little games we could do at home and on court to help the kids actually hit the ball (and burn some energy). But we found ourselves spending more time scrolling the internet than actually playing.

Most of what we found felt built for serious players: tournament prep, advanced training, DUPR rankings, competitive improvement.

That just wasn’t us.

Sure, some people love the competitive side of pickleball, but we realised there are probably a lot of families and social players like us too. People who just want to have fun, improve a little at their own pace, stay active, share a laugh, and enjoy the game with friends and family.

So we built something for it: Rallo.

It’s built for everyday players, the people who want to track scores, remember who won last time, try easy drills, build fun rivalries, celebrate streaks, and feel good for simply showing up.

It’s not about becoming a pro. It’s about making every game count, making progress feel fun, and giving people one more reason to get back on court.
